mi country casa….mi only casa. :-) I’m ready to see some green on these trees!

BIGGER OR BETTER! Each D-Now group was dropped off at a different neighborhood with only a paper clip, they went from house to house asking for something BIGGER or BETTER and this is what MY guys marched up with while chanting NAVY…NAVY…NAVY!…Not sure yet what all the other groups came back with but I think they have a pretty good chance of winning… :-)…..and Beth that would be your son on top of the trampoline holding the flag! I know this is a proud mom moment for you….hehehe. Beth, he is a delight, such a sweet boy! I told y’all I had the BEST group. ;-)

It’s hair cutting time for this goofball…LOL. Not that either one of us want it cut but it’s school rules so we cut. After I started cutting Ells said, “you know mom, cutting hair is an art”….thanks for the added pressure son…LOL. It’s so much easier to cut Tate’s because he’s not picky, he’s okay with what ever. BUT Mr. Elliott is a different story when it comes to his hair. He wants what he wants and he wants it cool (what he considers cool is not always what anyone else considers cool….that’s one of my favorite things about him). He decided he wanted an urban mullet….so an urban mullet he got (it’s shorter in the back than he wanted but we had to meet the school dress code…it still looks like a mullet). I know he’s mine but I think he rocks the mullet pretty good!!! :-) I’ll take a picture after he’s showered and dressed.

#2! I won’t be posting every time Tate comes home with something from a hunt but I had to post this because I got so tickled that Viv walked up with Tate and she was holding it….she was so proud that he let her carry it….LOL. Last night I didn’t have all the ingredients for rabbit stew so it’s on the menu for tomorrow night. I’ll let you know how it turns out. :-)

OH MY GOODNESS! I wish you could have seen the grin on this boys face when he walked into the HOUSE holding the prize from his first successful hunt…..he was grinning from ear to ear! He was so proud… he said mom, I saved us money on dinner! Our rules are, you don’t kill just to kill, if you kill it, you eat it. Paul showed him how to skin and clean it so it looks like we’re having rabbit stew for dinner.
