Vivi Jo is five today! Yesterday I told Vivi Jo that the today was her birthday. She knew exactly what I was saying and she was EXCITED...so excited that we celebrated Happy Birthday Eve, yesterday was a wonderful day looking forward to today. It amazes me how she understands so much we say...I would say atleast 90%, she is one smart cookie! On Happy Birthday Eve before bedtime, she and I made her a special birthday crown...that was right up her alley because she loves EVERYTHING artsy, she glued and glued and glued. She was so proud of her crown...so proud that she put it on when she woke up and wore it all day. We had errands to run and our princess proudly wore her crown, EVERYWHERE :-)

Birthday breakfast....donuts with pink icing and star sprinkles, served on the special Happy Birthday plate that she ate on all day.

She loved it when the phone rang and the calls were for her, wishing her a happy birthday. She would sing Happy Birthday along with them, as soon as the song was over she would start in singing Jingle Bells. She LOVES to sing.

After she opened each gift she would go to the person that gave it to her and tell them thank you and gave them a BIG hug.

Once the party was over she wanted to help clean up, she loves to help...and YES she is still wearing her crown :-).

What...it's not ready yet?....It was late and it took so long to put the kitchen together that she had to wait until morning to play with it.

They both had a full day of fun playing in the kitchen. We are so thankful to God we were able to celebrate this special day with her. I hope that it was a day (days :-) she will never forget....I know I won't.
