i have literally only a few minutes so i will quickly share....there are so many awesome details that i don't have time to to go into right now but will later.
i got texts and emails asking if we were adopting again and as much as i wish that that was our big news, it is not. the big news is that WE SOLD OUR HOUSE!!!... (from just thinking about selling to it's sold, took about 2 weeks) you all know how much i love my house...with all it's historical charm and character but to me it's only a house. we found some gorgeous land in the country and we are going to build on it but we are mostly excited that we are going to have a farm...with cows, goats, pigs, rabbits, chickens **fresh eggs**, a BIG garden and we are digging a pond and will stock it with fish so the kids can fish to their hearts content. and, i am excited about building again, my head is spinning with ideas. right now my head it just spinning period....we close on the house and have to be out by june 17....we are leaving for canada june 2nd (a road trip and will stop and see some of tate and elliotts friends fron thier orphanage along the way) so it gives us only a few days to have everything moved. we are living in a rent house while our house is being built. i'm off to end of school year parties and then more packing and moving. ((HUGS))

a good day....a very good day!
today is a very special day for our family. today we completed the last step of tate and elliott's adoption. today their adoption was reconized by the state of texas!!! i was emotional, of course i was emotional, i'm the mama :-). i think tonight calls for a celebratory dinner, and can you guess what is on the menu? their favorite...not noodles anymore, no-sir-ree-bob...tonight, i will be serving mama's homemade pizza and cake, i can not forget the cake :-). today is a good day!!! :-)

that would be me in yellow, denim, and the trying really hard not to burst into tears criey face.
**

the only thing that could have made this day better was if britney, michael, mark and hayden were here with us.

ells....
ells has started wearing contacts, he is getting them in much easier these days. such a handsome boy! he also got a KaChaw KaChaw (hair cut)...that's the sound the chinese scissors make when i cut their hair so that's what they call it and now that's what i call it :). i only KaChawed KaChawed the top so it will stand up. as you have probably figured out by now, ells loves his hair. we have 3 weeks left until schools out and he is hoping he can finish out the school year without having to cut it.
**
tonight when elliott was putting this picture on his facebook, max walked in and being the little brother that he is, told him, "you look like a platypus in that picture.", elliott said,"no i don't, i look like bird....i LIKE bird."....LOL.

not long after i came home with the boys, ells saw a picture of justin bieber and the first thing he noticed was his hair. he commented that he really liked his hair (although now, he would be quick yo tell you that he is NOT a bieber fan). i told him a few weeks ago, "elliott you have awesome hair....your hair is even better than justin bieber's" he looked at me and said, "yes mom, i know that!" LOL. we are for sure not lacking in the confidence department :-). oh how i love and adore this boy!

mother's day
tate and eilliott shared with me a few days ago that china celebrates mother's day today too, that was something new to me. these boys are teaching me so much.
this morning at church, i will admit that when our pastor asked the moms to stand, i stood with much pride. i feel like the most blessed person in the world. as i was standing there beaming, my pride was humbled, i began to think about all the mama's in china that were forced to give up their children. my heart began to hurt for them and the HUGE sacrifice they were forced to make. i began to think that this might not be a day of joy for so many but a day of pain and a day that brings up so many questions concerning their child. my children's biological mothers have no idea that their babies have a home, and a family that love and adore them. oh how i wish they knew, oh how i wish they could have a glimpse into their lives, i wish they could see the love that is so freely given to their children, i wish they could hear their laughter and see the smile on their faces. instead, i pray for the Lord to give them peace concerning their babies. so this mother's day, i feel even more grateful and thankful. grateful and thankful that we live in a country that allows us to keep our children, it makes me thankful that we are allowed to watch our children grow and see their smiles and hear their laughter.
i have shared this video on my blog years ago but i thought i would share again. it shows a little what these mothers in china go through. please pray for them.
please scroll down to the bottom of the page and turn my music off.
there are so many orphans in this world. so many waiting for hope, could you be their hope?

LOL. i was actually just looking for my pearls...HA!
