Kiki helping Max

Max and Kiki

I love how he just has to hold his tongue just right :-)

sweet little profile

*On President's Day, Paul, Max and I went to Dallas and met my sister Kristi, aka Kiki, that lives in Oklahoma. We met at Stonebriar Mall in Frisco...it is a great mall, this mall is at the top of my favorite mall list because it has a wonderful carousal. Our day was all about riding the horseys....ride the horseys and ride the horseys. We did get a little shopping in...we found Max a couple pair of adorable shorts at the Gap for spring and then made our way to Ikea...can't make a trip to Frisco and not stop by Ikea. It was a great visit, it was so good to see her. NO one I know can make me laugh like that girl can....LOL....I'm laughing right now just thinking about her and her antics.

I have a Mei Mei....

and I love her so much and I can't wait until she comes home.

Mei Mei is pronounced May-May it means little sister in Chinese. Even though she will technically not be his little sister since she is 22 months older, but she is the little sister of his 2 sisters, and by her records she may be his big/little sister. He seems to know what Mei Mei means, he is so precious every time I show him her photos he smiles so big and says Mei Mei and wants to kiss the computer screen. What a wonderful little/big brother he is going to be.

When Max is quiet......

you know he is up to something.

I was cooking his breakfast and left the pantry door open. I turned and found this....his favorite place in the house is the pantry....not to eat but to explore.

Where did all my money go???

Well....we have been teaching him to save :-)

Our first purchase for our princess.... a sweet white sweater is a staple in a little girls wardrobe. I know she will get a lot of wear out of this. Next...BOWS...another staple....actually I don't know how much hair she will have when we get her because in her referral photos, she is wearing costumes with head pieces, what little hair you can see it looks like her head is shaved. Shaving little girls heads in China is considered good luck and is very common so I wasn't surprised. Hair will grow and I can't wait to doll her in bows. Britney I will try not to put bows in her hair as BIG as the bows I put in yours....but you have to remember it was the late 80's/early 90's and that was the style....or maybe it is because we are from TEXAS and everything is just a little BIGGER in Texas :-) Britney wore bows everyday....she played in bows, she bathed in bows and practically slept in bows.....at one point she had well over 100 hair bows....no she didn't need them all but I made them and could make them cheap...what would cost 10, 12, 15 dollars, even back then, I could make them for 1 or 2 maybe 3$ if they were elaborate. I would hop in the car and drive to the ribbon outlet and have a hay day buying ribbon and then I would stay up late at night and make bows, make bows, and make more bows. It was truly therapeutic and fun....to show you my love for hair bows I've posted some pictures of Britney in a few of her bows. It sure was fun picking out these pictures, looking back at pictures of the kids when they were little. Britney I hope you don't mind because you and your bows are on display. :-)
