we were on our way to our first dinner together. this was the evening of gotcha day, the day our precious max walked into our lives. i can't look at this picture without crying....this was one if the most beautiful and perfect days of my life!

viv has a trunk FULL of dance and princess costumes, feather boas, many hats, multiple crowns, gloves and jewelry galore that are rarely touched. the other day my dear friend amy gave max and vivi jo a few super hero costumes.... now, all of a sudden my girl loves to play dress up. ames, thank you...thank you...thank you...they have had hours of fun with them!

bubba hayden is coming home! here are a few reason why we are so excited....


he tickles me....

he changes my baby's clothes...

he hold me upside down....

and swings me from side to side....

he takes care of me...

and he is just so much fun.....

but most importantly, he loves us so much and we love him!

another 1st for viv

as i was looking back through my folders of photos, i realized that i missed posting viv's first time at chuck e. cheese's. how could i journal my kids life and forget this. we were invited to a birthday party and vivi jo loved it! click here to see max's first chuck e. cheese's experience....we met our wonderful friends from oklahoma...kim, we need to do that again....i miss you guys!

i ♥ my one of a kind girl!

this past friday we (paul, max, viv and myself) went to britney's, spent the night....we all got up before the chickens to help move her....with micheal's help as well, i can't forget him. friday, when i walked in her apartment i got so tickled, britney had all of her things boxed up and the boxes were labeled....not just labeled...she had to add the "britney" touch and make art out of them...lol...check out a few of her boxes below. she tickles me...she is so wonderfully odd....creative....artistic....whimsical...i could go on and on. i love this girl and her quirky ways.

miss avery kate had so much fun during this part of our photo shoot. i love these sweet bubbly feet.

vivi jo and max love bubbles....viv much more than max, she doesn't want to quit until every drop of bubble juice is gone.

budding artist

in the little town where we live, the library has a summer reading program for kids between the ages 4 though 12. i knew our social butterfly would love to participate. after the reading was over they took the kids outside to let them create on the sidewalk. max loves sidewalk chalk so we came back early enough for him to join in on the fun. next week after reading is water play....we can't wait!
