was the song of the morning. they were belting it out so i popped in to see what was going on and below is what i found. a few days ago they were begging dad for something they could use for a puppet show. he brought this big box in and i can't tell you how much fun they've had with it. this morning, they sat the box on top of three toy buckets and went gently down the stream, using their swords for paddles. i tell you, there's never all dull moment and i never know what they are going to come up with next.

I have put this off as long as I can but it's getting closer to travel and we are still short money so I'm putting my BF, right hand man, good ole faithful, up for sale.

We are not just a little short on funds we are so short on funds that I will be traveling alone (unless God decides to do a BIG miracle...and I am praying that He will and I KNOW He can if that's what He chooses). We are still short with me traveling alone. We knew early on that one of us might have to travel alone, adopting 4 in 3 years has exhausted all of our extra money that we would need for all 4 of us to travel. Am I complaining? NOT ON YOUR LIFE....NOT FOR A SECOND....I am the MOST BLESSED person I know :-). We know that Paul and I traveling without Viv and Max would not be an option. I have been away from the kids at night only twice and Max, being such a mama's boy had a really rough time, both times. We are trying to prepare them, we talk alot about me going to China to get their brothers and that they will get to be with daddy all day long while I'm gone. Max might have a difficult time, I pray he'll be okay. Viv will miss me but she is such a daddy's girl that she will be in HEAVEN having her daddy with her all day for 2 weeks. For a while we were back and forth trying to decide who would travel...we finally decided it would be me. One thing that helped greatly in making that decision was that we were told by our agency's social worker that often the older boy's have an easier time bonding with their dads. We feel like if I were the one to travel then I would have a head start, 2 full weeks of bonding. By what she said, we feel that once we are home that their bonding to Paul would come easier than it would to me if Paul were to travel and I stayed at home. Bonding techniques are very different with older kids than with younger ones but we were given some VALUABLE advice from our agency's social worker that I intend to put into action the minute we are together. So that is where we stand right now on the travel and now is the time for me to part with the love of my photography life.......In all seriousness, this camera is NOTHING compared to our two blessings that are waiting for us in China, so I am happy to have up for sale....

Don't think for a second that I'll not be posting pictures of Max and the Vivster because I'll be shooting with Clarabelle's long lost cousin Camille Canon. Camille is a Canon Elph point & shoot, no she doesn't have the style and finesse of her cousin Clarabelle but Camille is charming and is known to show off from time to time :-).
