On this Memorial Day I wanted to say thank you to all those who keep us safe and free. I have friends that their children are serving our country, I would like to honor them today and say thank you and I love you!! I know many have sacrificed so that we can all celebrate this holiday. I salute our military and the families they leave behind as they go serve. God bless our troops and
We had a great time celebrating Hayden. It was a fun time with family and friends. We probably had around 50 people show up. We were going to serve BBQ but we soon found that at all the end of school year activities served BBQ. Hayden was a bit tired of it by graduation and he said he would rather have pizza and of course Cindy cake. Hayden said he enjoyed his day. It's hard to me to believe he is a high school graduate. Enjoy every day you have with your children, they grow up in a blink of an eye.
Each student was recognized and they announced what school they will be attending in the fall and what they plan to major in. Hayden will be attending DBU and is majoring in Biblical Studies. He plans to be a pastor.
Seniors that attend FBC
Aric our youth minister, reads letters to the seniors written by their parents.
Each student had a section of a table and the parents decorated it with keepsakes, baby books, accomplishments, pictures ect. I loved getting this together, it brought back so many treasured memories.
Hayden and Austin, they have been best friends since 3rd grade. They were voted "Most Likely to Remain Friends" by their senior class.
Hayden has known most of these friends since they were toddlers.

I have to say that the Senior Recognition luncheon for me was the most special of all the graduations activities. Aric had the parents write a letter to their child and after the lunch he read them out loud. Hayden and I have very close and open relationship and what I shared in my letter he already knew because I tell him and show him those things daily. For some parents it's harder for them to show and verbalize to their children how much they love them and how they feel about them. This was Aric's way of bringing parents and their children together. I think he did an excellent job! It was an amazing day, a day I will never forget.
Hayden was given the Hustlin Tiger Award this year for basketball at the Athletic Banquet. Hayden practiced and played with heart. The fans always like watching him on the court because he always gave 100%. I am so proud of Hayden for working hard but more than that I am proud of his attitude. He was so positive and encouraging to his team mates. I shared with him, those attributes are what will be beneficial later in life and most importantly, they are pleasing to God.
I am going to take a blogger break, just until Hayden graduates. He graduates on May 26th and right now it is crazy busy. A good busy though. I'll be back soon!!!

Hayden quickly learns to take advantage of little naps, where ever and when ever you can squeeze one in.
Excuse me....is he holding a baby or a football???
I hope Sarah Jean is glued into the carrier...
Nothing more handsome than a man with a baby.
An afternoon of cleaning house and baby sitting my new grand baby.
If grandma is going to babysit, a hair bow is a MUST!!
Sarah Jean looks a lot like her daddy, but Paul ask Hayden if her momma was Mannequin. He thought she must be because of Sarah Jean's beautiful, smooth, and flawless complexion.

Hayden is Getting Practice for Vivi Jo
Hayden, this semester is taking Child Development. For a grade each student is given a baby. Hayden is the proud papa of a baby girl. He had to name her, dress her, and must attend to her every cry....and does she ever cry!!(YIKES) When she cries Hayden was given a key that has to be inserted into her back and turned, the key has to be held into that position until she is over her little fit, at least when the key is turned the crying quits but if the key slips and is let go she will start crying again, she will give one last cry when the key is turned in the right position to let you know she is no longer crying. The longest it has taken her to quit crying so far is about 25 minutes. Your fingers and hands begin to cramp(or maybe that is just me). Sarah Jean is set on low maintenance but today the teacher is turning her on high maintenance. There is a computer chip in the dolls that records how long they cried, they are set to randomly cry at different times no matter what but if they are treated harshly they will cry more, if they are held in an upright position they will cry less. I have laughed at Hayden with this baby. He really wants a good grade.....He had to run to the store and I told him that I would babysit. He gave me orders to keep the key with me at all times. He told me that he would call in and check on things. Less than 1 minute after he left she started bawling and I had a hard time getting the key in and turned just right. Finally it worked, I called Hayden and told him what happened. I told him that I think she has separation anxiety....lol... While we were talking the key slipped and she started crying again and he starts to panic he said Mom....Mom....put the key in....Mom....How are you holding her....I said I have her laying on my lap....he said Mom....is she faced down...can she breathe????....lol... I finally got the key to work.....Hayden wanted me to call him as soon as she quit crying. When he came home, he took her into his room, I walked down the hall and glanced into his room and he was sitting in a rocking chair with Sarah Jean on his lap, watching ESPN. I laughed so hard. At bedtime he knew it might be a long, sleepless night, Hayden is a very sound sleeper so he put her next to him in bed with the key close by, he was so concerned that he might roll over on her...lol...I can't count how many times I put my babies in bed with me and was worried about the same thing. He said that she woke up twice in the night and the first time it took about 22 minutes for her to stop the crying. He made it through the night okay. I have enjoyed getting to watch Hayden and I can see that someday he will make an amazing father. Hayden is doing a GREAT job because he wants to get a good grade but just think how much more precious his child will be to him than a good grade...I can see he is going to be one of those doting daddies. Get ready Vivi Jo, your big brother is getting a lot of practice and he's going to take good care of you.
Hayden and his buddies...looking sharp!!! The guy next to Hayden was voted Prom King....Congratulations Kolton!!!
Check out the paparazzi...Celebrity Hayden Moore walking the red carpet. Cool shades!!!
Hayden and Austin were voted by their classmates, Most Likely to Remain Friends. They have been best friends since 3rd grade.
Prom 2007 Hayden said he had a great time at this years prom. Hayden went with a group of guys this year instead of taking a date. He didn't get to dance much last year because his date wasn't much for dancing, but this year was different, he danced all night, at one point Hayden said that people circled around him while he was dancing, and started chanting Hayden, Hayden, Hayden, Hayden...of course my little ham loved that. Prom is a big deal around here, not just for the kids but also the parents. Bleachers are set up for parents, friends, and family to watch them drive up, get announced and walk the red carpet. There were some kids coming to the prom in sports cars, classic cars, stretch Hummer limos, huge tractors, and there was even a horse drawn carriage. Everyone looked fabulous!! They had a fantastic evening that made forever memories. Thank you Junior class and teachers for working so hard to give our Seniors an amazing, unforgettable prom.
