motion picture monday

this video first started out with max saying the days of the week but ended up in a lengthy conversation. max is such a thinker....i love to watch his eyes when he is thinking....he is one expressive little guy!

kristi, before you call me and ask if max was picking his nose, the answer is NO NO NO...would my sweet precious pick his nose? why yes he would but not this time...he just had a little itchy. love you sister :-D!

but while we are on the subject of nose pickin' and this is my journal and i journal most everything....before max picks he asks if he can and he only asks if we are at home or in the car (those are our only nose pickin' places :-)...LOL..i tell him, sure thing buddy just go get a kleenex. having already raised two boys, max asking to pick won't last long. :-D. or he might be like britney when she was little, if she saw a kid in public picking their nose(whether she knew them or not) she was tell them, "don't do that....it not nice to pick EW nose". my own nose picking monitor.

i'm sorry if that is TMI for some... but i don't want to forget anything they do.

time out

i over heard max and vivi while they were playing and i grabbed my camera. they were taking turns putting lola and mimmie in time out. here is what i caught:

(vivi) - listen to me, you can't bite....i love you so much (kiss). mimmie, gonna sit longer....you cry and cry and cry, i can't get you. you got to sit in time out by you self.

i wonder where she came up with, "you can't bite", neither viv nor max are biters...maybe something she experienced while in china....so many unknowns.

the bank that paul works for treated their employees to a picnic last weekend. we had a great time and vivi jo and max had a ball. thank you first national and thank you brad and krisan for hosting it at your lovely home.

no longer wordless wednesday :-)

LOL...okay....this wednesday can no longer be wordless.....i must explain with just a few words how this is even possible.

LOTS and LOTS of bubble juice + whirlpool turned on HIGH =

the picture stops but the bubbles keep on going! LOL

i only thought i was being smart by starting dinner while they they took a bath....killing 2 birds with one stone. HA

pep rally

the new glasses that we will be getting will have an anti-reflective coating on them....i don't know why i didn't think about that before (especially with all the pictures i take).

friday, i took vivi jo and max to the pep rally at the school. they got their picture taken with paige, she is a senior and the sweetest thing ever. they were in awe of it all.....vivi jo's favorite part was when the cheerleaders threw the girls high up in the air and max liked seeing the football players in their jerseys just like HIS. he was so excited when he saw zach (tammy's son), max picked him out in the crowd. they liked it so much that i think we will be going every week now.

HEY, that's MY tie!.....

that is what max said when he walked in viv's room while she was getting dressed and saw I was putting HIS tie on her. he is really good about sharing his toys but his beloved TIE? once i told him that he could wear one of his other ties he was just fine. ties are a big deal at our house because daddy wears a tie everyday to work....and who doesn't want to be just like dad.

and to all my fellow thrifters...viv's skirt cost me a whopping 50 cents!

first day of pre-school

school actually started a couple of weeks ago. vivi jo is going to rainbow pre-school 3 mornings a week and max is going to home school pre-school. i am home schooling both on the days she doesn't go the rainbow. getting my feet wet, before we make a decision for next year, to home school or not to home school? ....both had a GREAT day!
