last night was the valentine's dance, the 8th grade parents put it on as a fundraiser so we can give them a fun party this year after their jr. high graduation. we are also doing different things to raise money to give the juniors and seniors an after prom party their junior year. tate and elliott had a blast! neither one of them have girlfriends (YAY!!!), but they do have many friends that are girls. they decided not to ask a girl to go with them to the dance but they DID want to dance. a couple weeks ago they started asking me to teach them so i gave them a few little dance lessons...lol...they got the box step and the two step down pat. i told them that most kids would probably just sway back and forth to the music but that wasn't good enough for them...they wanted to "really dance" to much dancing with the stars, i guess...hehehe. when we got there they were both a little nervous. elliott walks up to me and ask me to dance with him...how PRECIOUS is that! so we danced the two step, i think that broke the ice because after that, they both danced the night away!

getting ready for their big night.
elliott told me weeks before that he wanted to wear a bow tie so i bought some red checked material...i think it fits elliott's style to a T. tate wore paul's panda tie that he got from china.
my gangsta's....are they not absolutely the CUTEST!!!!
they have the best group of friends!
i so wish this photo didn't come out blurry because i think it is the sweetest.
elliott dancing the box step....it was a really BIG box...hehehe. they were both so precious!!!
ells and natalie two steppin'
i'll fess up....there were a few of us moms that couldn't take it any longer....we HAD to get out on the dance floor and show those kiddies how it's done! HA HA! at the end of the night, i wondered who had the best time....the kids or the moms...hehehe. if i didn't get out there and move to the groove then britney, mark and hayden would have thought that there was something terribly wrong with me and i couldn't have that...hehehe. and if your wondering, tate and ells were perfectly fine with it....they were all grins. they are already use to not knowing what mom might do...LOL...or who knows...maybe the bigs already warned them about school dances...HA HA HA!
